Fans want more Diablo games

I think the fact that we have these D2R Items that have such stories, stories of time, or stories about games that exist with them, I consider that to be an asset. I don't consider that as a risk. I think that the ability and drive to create new things is equally important We've demonstrated that we're able to do that through Diablo and we'll show that again in the near future.

A first-person shooter that is based on StarCraft is now one of the Blizzard's White Whale. There was a report recently of a plan to create a first-person shooter set within the StarCraft universe being canceled, and then it was StarCraft Ghost. Does that sound like something you're still interested in?

You know, one of the things I'd like you to know is that there's been recent news stories about games we have not moved forward on, but internally, it is known that 50 percent of games we initiate actually launch.

And so the fact that we're still not moving forward with this game or on that game is kind of an indication that Blizzard continues to work as it always has. I would say that for the majority of games we've been working on have never shipped for the reason mentioned above and the vast majority of players do not know their names other than Blizzard. It's not really getting a lot of attention.

So this is just sort of normal Blizzard being Blizzard in the sense that we analyze games and choose what games are going to take off and what aren't going to advance. I'm an avid StarCraft fan , personally, and that's why I'm excited for the future games that will be part of that universe. But I think it's part of the creative process. The creative process isn't linear. It's a very intricate process.

Fans want many more StarCraft games. I'm a big fan, and I would like to see more StarCraft games. Fans want more buy d2r items games. I'm a huge fan and too would like more Diablo games. Fans want new IP as do I.
